I think 🤔 TEO, it's perfect and the danger is ruining a good thing.
Hmm, give TEO a chance to grow, complete a tapestry and see
how the 40 dollar distribution works out. A lot of people are
talking 🦜 about how unique TEO is. You got the cookie 🍪.

Excellent idea Bill, thank you 💡 I'm going to look into that today. I quite like the idea of allowing for some members posts to be confidential on the wider net, and if I can get it right, I'd like to make that a selectable option. Let's see 🙂

Hi my friends, I'm going to attempt a few things with our forum today. As Bill suggested, I'm going to make our forum publicly viewable, though only members will be able to post. I'm going to broaden our categories to include more categories, hopefully with tabs along the top. Something along the lines of All Discussions · TEO · Advertising & Promotion · Make Money Online · Web & Tools · Money & Payments · Safety · Community

I want to make it so that each post and reply has clear choice of community only or public, and the replies to those posts should follow the lead of the original post. Current posts and replies, other than my own original posts, will be made private by default and you can just go ahead and make them public if you want to using the edit button.

Why I'm telling you all this before it's ready, is firstly, I'm assuming I can achieve these things, but time will tell 🙂 and secondly, I don't want anyone to worry when things start changing here as they will while I'm working on this ❤️

🎯 Okay, I think all of that was implemented correctly, but please let me know if you notice any bugs or would like to see any changes or improvements. And please do check the posts that you're okay with going public. No problem at all if you want to keep some or even all of your posts within the community only. There's a big notice above the forum that takes you to the page to do that easily. I'll look into promo tools promoting the forum next. The links to the forum and each thread are at the top of the page in the meanwhile. Thank you 🙂 I'll sleep now, and see you tomorrow ❤️

Clare, you deserve, at the least, appreciation for managing to prepare splash pages and banners specific to the forum in 1 day. Add to that reconfiguring the forum so that posts would be either private or public and a direct forum referral link for each member.

And yes, no bugs that I have found as I used my link to see the forum as a nonmember and no member posts were visible. When clicking to sign up, my name was displayed.

I would add that the splash pages/banners would be more effective for traffic exchanges given so many people click when the timer zeros.

For the mailers, yes there is a timer, but I feel people tend to linger longer as the next email can wait if they see something interesting. The direct forum link exposes them to a plethora of subject headings which may prove seductive for them to look further.

I sincerely hope your hard work results in a lasting dream realized.

i am a member now for a while, so still learning things but one thing i want to simplify a bit
claiming weaves, i claim after i finished surfing , only i find it time consuming to choose , then claim and confirm ,
maybe make it easier , show a list of the claims , let us click on the colors that we want and then confirm with 1 button on the end instead of clicking 3 times for every claim
i also noitced that once you clicked a color you can not change to the other color, with being tired on the end of the day its sometimes is just easier to click the 1st color but when i see that i dont want that one but the other one i cannot change it to the other one, so that part needs some work also i guess

Simplified claiming system, done! 🤗 I hope that's what you had in mind Marleen ❤️ For changing weave colours after claiming. That's going to mess up the logistics if it's not done carefully. I'll see what I can come up with soon 👍

Oh yes, and I'll finish bulk placements of colours in regions tomorrow. Meaning, you can select all of a colour if you want to and fill all available spaces for that colour in one action within a region, if that makes sense. I actually half built that before and got distracted and didn't go back to it.

I get better opportunities here for advertising and exposure than other sites-- the TE, the forum, the post signature, the blog. I get around the site pretty easy. There is a small learning curve, but nothing drastic. You can finesse the weave collecting, but I think that's also a mostly simple process.
